Afghan has a weird culture which they dress girls as boys because of the social problems in Afghan. This weird tradition is Bacha Posh, they believe that when a family have a boy, it is considered lucky and prestigious. This girls at the age of 18-20, they will return back to their normal gender but they start dressing up as a boy as early as 5 in age so that they could support their family by selling gum. These girls who happen to have Bacha Posh, they are very reluctant to become a female again and they preferred to stay as a boy. There are also stories saying that the girl who went in this such tradition have an experience of the female and male world which actually make them better in society like finding a job. Some experts say that such thing is infringes human rights as it made the girl to lose essential childhood memories as well as losing their identity.
I believe that this weird tradition should stop because it infringes human right, it is ok to have identity change permanently but having to change your child hood for a few years and then return to your original identity which will make some changes that one is not comfortable about. Human rights is important because it is the basis of humanity, if one does not have the basic human rights, it infringes his/her rights to do something. This girls who underwent Bacha Posh, they lost valuable time pretending to be of another gender. It is morally wrong of becoming the opposite gender and then coming back to your original gender hence it infringes human rights.
Mali Coup leader Sanogo will not cling onto power.
Sanogo said he would stand down after making sure the army, which is fighting ethnic-Tuareg rebels in the north, was able to secure the country.
He also said former leaders would be transferred to the justice system, but the president is not believed to be in the custody of the mutineers.
Meanwhile, the African Union has suspended Mali from the organisation.
Mali has been kicked out of the organisation as the country itself could not support itself, the president have went into hiding because of the rebels, the country could not be in the organisation because it could not assist in fighting the rebels and the country is in need of a new leader as the president is "gone". Sanogo whom could be the next person who be the next leader but he preferred a poll and he would not mind being commander.

Kah Hao, where's the news on the Eurozone economy?
ReplyDeleteThanks Megan!
ReplyDeleteKah Hao, You need to work on your grammar and actually crafting your sentences. When I read this, I feel like I'm being rushed and that you have to get this over and done with, quick. Focus on writing short and sharp sentences that make a point. That's what Hemingway and Vonnegut did.
