'Expect more online attacks' Anonymous hackers say

Anonymous Twitter messages warned of the attack on 4 April, and said: "EXPECT a DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service)every Saturday on the UK Government sites."The website became inaccessible around 21:00 BST on Saturday, and was patchy from 05:00 on Sunday.A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack floods the webserver with so many requests that it can no longer respond to legitimate users. One message on Twitter said it was a protest against "draconian surveillance proposals" but another claimed it was over extradition from the UK to the US.One tweet claiming to be from Anonymous said:
"You should not give UK citizens to foreign countries without evidence. If an offence happened in the UK, so should the trial."
Anonymous is yet by far the most daring group of people i have known to do such acts to express their opinions and to also try to introduce poli
cies to the government that in their opinion is the best. Yet, none of them were successful so they are still trying to gain the public's support. Thinking that they originate an idea from a movie: 'V for Vendetta" as their logo has the resemblance of V, mostly their kick-start idea is the quote: "The people should not be afraid of their government, the government should be afraid of their people."Through recent acts, they are creating an impression that they are fighting for
what they think is important.
THBT the internet does more harm than good
US adds 120,000 jobs in March, lower than predicted

Employment has been rising for the past six months, but the jobless rate has been stuck above 8% since early 2009.The Department of Labor's data shows the smallest growth in employment since October 2011.
Manufacturing, the food and beverage industry and healthcare showed gains in March, but retail was down, suggesting that there were a decrease in consumers. But joblessness dropped by one-tenth of a percent as the number of people actively looking for work went down.
In response to the figures, the White House said that there was "more work to be done". But it said the report
provided "further evidence that the economy is continuing to recover".But Ben Bernanke, chairman of the Federal Reserve, has recently warned that the pace of growth seen in recent months would need sustained consumer spending in order to continue.
I am sure that President Obama is already doing his very best in trying to improve the economy by creating more job opportunities for the people to get a job but yet, there is not much improvement in the number of people actively looking for work.People are not taking the initiative to go ahead and take the job which is telling me that these people are rather not bothered with whether do they have a job and yet President Obama is still creating jobs in hope of these people would get a job and hoping that the economy would improve, which already, in fact recovering.
THBT the democrats are not doing anything to help the economy
Syria wants 'written guarantees' from opposition

Peace envoy Kofi Annan had not yet supplied agreements in writing from "armed terrorist groups to stop
violence in all its forms", it said. The leader of the rebel forces has refused to agree to Damascus's demands. The reason being the commander of the rebel Free Syrian Army said that his group did not recognise President Bashar al-Assad's government and thus would not give guarantees. He told the AP by telephone that rebel soldiers would lay down their arms only if the government in Damascus abided by Mr Annan's peace plan.
Damascus also wanted "guarantees of commitment by the governments of Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey to stop financing the armed terrorist groups", it said making things clear that Damascus is seeking complete surrender from the opposition rather than accepting a balanced truce agreement and then talks.
Peace for Syria within a month? I forsee the Free Syrian Army would do something interesting during the next few days.I am sure there would not just give up what they fought for so long and just because of a peace convoy coming to Syria trying to sort things out and having the Government not having a balanced truce agreement and talks which clearly is indicating that Damascus is just seeking complete surrender from the opposition the complacent way; still thinking they are having the level of respect that would force the Free Syrian Army to abide by them.
THW would cut off all forms of aid to the Middle East.
THBT Damascus should have a balanced truce agreement with the Free Syrian Army.
Megan just asked me to remind coach if she still wants us to put possible debate motions. So i'll just put them in my articles today.
1. Make the font consistent, please! I keep having to adjust my eyes, and it shows me that you have copied and pasted certain quotes all too well, too.
ReplyDelete2. "But yet" is a double contradiction and should not be used in any way shape or form. If I had 50cents for every time I hear someone say "but yet," I would have been able to give all of you a treat at Swensen's. Don't use it - it's not proper English and it's dumb. It's either BUT or YET, not both.
3. I like how everyone is keeping tabs on Al-Assad.
Noted, sorry about the fonts !
