North Korea's Failed Missle Launch
The much anticipated rocket launch has failed, North Korea has confirmed.
The launching of the rocket – seen by many as a controversial banned test of long-range missile technology – was launched from north-west North Korea earlier on today. However, according to US, Japan and South Korea, the missle only flew for one minute before it exploded and fell into pieces.
According to North Korea, the launch of the missle was 100th anniversary of the birth of national founder, Kim Il-sung. But every else knows that the real motive of the whole launch was just a publicity stunt by the communist North Koreans to show the world their power.
North Korea said its scientists are assessing the cause of the failure of the launch and there could be possibilities of a next launch soon.
This launch has been a sign of a technical achievement of North Korea and this failure has been humilating toward the leaders of North Korea. Sources also say that this failure could affect Kim Jong Un's power status in North Korea.
Eygptian polititions bar ex-Mubarak presidential candidates
The Egyptian parliament has passed a law that bans any past presidential candidates who were under
Hosni Mubarak. This law applies to all applies to all those who held the office of president, vice-president or prime minister, but not former ministers.
This basically means that ex-vice-president Omar Suleiman would not be able to continue as a
